The Young Americans

The Young Americans are a group of 42 students aged between 16 and 21 who take a 3 day workshop, teaching drama, voice and dance, who started their tour at Brentwood County High School.
The workshop took place over 3 days with both a matinee and an evening performance on the last day. The first half of the show was performed by The Young Americans which included extracts from Broadway Musicals and the second half was performed by our students. This was an excellent opportunity for our students to get involved; they were part of a fantastic show and made wonderful friendships. They learnt new skills and techniques from professional and highly trained performers.
181 students took part in total and the majority of participants were our students but these were joined by some students from our feeder primary schools and some other local schools and colleges. All involved had an amazing time.
