This is a night when any performer can use the school stage in front of a large audience (last year sold out!) in the school hall. Students from all year groups will be taking part from some making their first appearance in a school show to some who are veteran Year 13 performers.

There is a mix of soloists, bands, school choir, dance and the school's Swing Band will also make an appearance to open the show.

Tickets are £5.50 Adults, £2.50 Student/Concession - the ticket price includes a glass of wine/fruit juice, food and nibbles on each of the tables and a selection of desserts.

There are a limited number of tickets for this event, if you would like to reserve some to collect on the night please email: fairless@bchs.essex.sch.uk or a student can purchase them at any morning break up to the morning of the event.

On this occasion we were joined by students from St. Martin's School and heard a presentation from  James Endicott from e2v Technologies.

James talked about image sensors that they design and manufacture at e2v in Chelmsford. He gave an introduction to the company, the top of specific imaging technology, and then talked about a few examples of interesting applications where their devices are used. Including ground based telescopes, adaptive optics, space telescopes such as Hubble, Kepler, Solar Dynamics Observatory and Euclid.

Watch out for the Cabaret Evening coming up after half term on the 10th November.  Tickets will be on sale from Monday 31st October.

Students were in house teams and by the end of the day each team had to produce an A2 page in the 'Horrible History' style, entitled 'Beastly Brentwood'.
